June 8 sees the new Jonathan Boulet album ‘WE KEEP THE BEAT, FOUND THE SOUND, SEE THE NEED, START THE HEART’ released on Modular Recordings and to support and promote the release he has just announced a string of Australian shows.
The tour will take in 8 cities and starts soon after the appearance at the Vivid Live festival taking place at the Sydney Opera House. These shows will be among the first opportunities for fans to see tracks from the new album performed. One of those tracks will be current single ‘This Single Is Called Ragged’. Other tracks sure to make an appearance are fan faves ‘Trounce’ and ‘You’re A Animal’.
Jonathan Boulet is having a busy week with the album We Keep The Beat, Found The Sound, See The Need, Start The Heart Triple J’s Feature Album and FBI’s Album Of The Week.
We Keep The Beat, Found The Sound, See The Need, Start The Heart is a soaring burst of melody and
harmony, built on the blocks of primal, incessant rhythm. It features choruses of chanting choirs,
speedball drum lines and junkyards of melodic percussion. It’s a dense, cathartic record of unbridled
energy and heavy pop.
