Santana and Steve Miller Band Tour Together

It has recently been announced that Santana and The Steve Miller Band will play festivals across Australia next year. It has now been confirmed by Chugg Entertainment that in addition to the festivals Australia will see two of the biggest rock acts in the world come together for a dynamic double bill tour when Santana and The Steve Miller Band grace stages across the country.

The co-headlining tour kicks off in Melbourne at the Rod Laver Arena before heading to the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, Sydney Entertainment Centre and finishing up at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

Carlos Santana is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, one of the greatest musicians and legendary guitarists of our time and he is set to return and set fire to our stages once more. Santana’s style is instantly recognisable even if it does defy definition; he melds Latin rock, blues, soul and jazz in a way that eclipses time and genre.

For over four decades Carlos Santana has been rocking concerts worldwide, and reached over 100 million fans, he has also sold more than 90 millions records. Santana has won 10 Grammy Awards, including a record-tying 9 for 1999’s Supernatural which included Album of the Year and Record of the Year for Smooth. Carlos Santana has been cited by Rolling Stone as #15 on their 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.

The Steve Miller Band also boasts a career spanning more than 40 years which saw them as one of the top San Francisco blues-rockers in the late 60s and early 70s and then move on to become one of the top selling pop/rock acts of the mid-late 70s and early 80s. They have sold more than 30 million records and were awarded for the likes of The Joker, Brave New World, Abracadabra and Fly Like An Eagle. Songs like Take The Money And Run, The Joker and Livin’ In The USA have cemented Steve Miller as an all-time rock great and sees him still playing to packed arenas.
