Clare Bowditch, fabulous female singer songwriter, is coming off a significantly big year. Clare Bowditch was crowned Rolling Stone Magazine’s “Woman of the Year” for her contribution to culture as well as being handpicked by legendary Leonard Cohen to open shows on his Australian Tour.
Seeming like a good time to try her hand at something different, Clare Bowditch decided to collaborate with a few fellow artists on writing some new songs and re-working material from previous albums.
Enter Lanie Lane, whom Clare met through this process, Sydney-sider singer of rockabilly swing-folk sounds. The two lovely ladies hit it off and have recorded a sensational duet “Now You’re Home” which will be released on Monday May 23rd.
That’s not all, Clare is also taking Lanie on the road for her Winter Secrets Tour this June and July. The tour will wend its way through all major capital cities and key regional areas. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
Clare Bowditch believes that everyone is creative, which is why she has decided to make the Winter Secrets tour something a little different. The shows will depend on input from the crowd, her fans. Artist and audience will combine to make one brand new entity.

The design of the Winter Secrets tour is to approach live music from a collaborative perspective and encourage the audience to join in a creative adventure with Clare and Lanie, to effectively break down the barrier between audience and artist.
The shows will reveal a shared collage of intimate performances, inspiring stories, songs, comedy, questions and answers, secrets, random audience participation and even group singing sessions with the two talented ladies.
