EMPRA are set to launch their self-titled debut album and a launch gig wasn’t enough of a celebration for these energetic Melbourne rockers, they decided they needed an entire album launch tour.
The album launch tour kicks off at Revolver Upstairs on May 26, with a 3 band show and albums being handed out at the door. Tickets were onsale through Moshtix but they were in such demand that this show is already sold out. But it’s only the beginning.
Kicking off from Revolver Upstairs is a 23 date national tour – their first ever national tour I might add. The tour hits all major cities and hits its big finale with a home-coming show at The Espy in August.
EMPRA have travelled a challenging path to get to this point which makes the achievement that much more memorable. Nothing was going to stop this band from living the dream, they were going to get there and now here they sit on the eve of the debut album release and their first national tour.
It is the band’s unique history, talent, passion and dedication that has resulted in such a solid, rocking debut release, sure to impress and set a buzz across the country.
The debut single is released to media on May 21 and already has airplay on Radar Music and community stations across the country, ahead of servicing.
EMPRA have the talent, the passion and the tireless energy that are sure to give you a positive and memorable show. Get down and see these guys when they’re in a city near you, you won’t be sorry you did.
Tickets for all shows (apart from Revolver Upstairs) are available on the door at the venue on the night.

Homecoming show!
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years, I have broadened my horizons considerably. In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews. Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS!
EMPRA are AWESOME !!!! I have seen their live show several times and it is fantastic !! Can’t wait for the album launch this Saturday … looking forward to receving my copy of the EMPRA album so I can play it over and over … soooo good !!! Well done guys 😀
Melbourne rockers EMPRA list Weezer as a source of information so they would LOVE to open for Weezer on this tour so they put their heads together and got creative.
They baked a cake for Chugg Entertainment with an edible icing sheet depicting the Weezer blue album cover with Empra heads and sent it along with an application for tour support.
They certainly came up with a creative and memorable applicable that saw them presented to Weezer’s management in regard to the tour.
Congratulations EMPRA on being considered and kudos for your creativity!
Good Luck!!!
