2012 is the 30th anniversary of Pseudo Echo so before I begin, please join me in saying… Happy Birthday Pseudo Echo and welcome back.
The electro-pop pioneers are pumped and ready to rock. Their first single since the 80’s has just been released and to promote Suddenly Silently they will be hitting the road for a national tour in August.
Pseudo Echo became a household name across the world, they topped the charts in Australia, US, UK, Canada and Sweden and racked up over a million album sales. They are best known for their smash hit Funky Town, which is one of my childhood faves – takes me back.
The new single was written by Brian Canham & Ben Grayson and originally planned for the Teleporter album. Suddenly Silently is trademark Pseudo Echo and certain to make the fans happy. Brian Canham’s voice hasn’t changed and the synth keyboard riffs and stomping backbeat have the same kick they did in the 80’s.
In the spirit of the celebration Pseudo Echo are handing out a thousand Suddenly Silently digital download cards. These will be distributed to the first 150 audience members through the door at each gig.
Get in early to avoid disappointment.
Pseudo Echo are:
Brian Canham (Lead vocals/guitar/keyboards)
Ben Grayson (Synthesiser)
Darren Danielson (Drums)
Simon Rayner (Bass-synth / backing vocals)

My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
