Melbourne rockers Sharaya are set to release their debut album ‘The Road To…’ and to celebrate they have lined up a rocking good night at The Corner Hotel on May 31st.
The launch gig at The Corner Hotel on the 31st May will showcase the talented musicians that combine to make Sharaya, and to add to the rock factor they are being supported by Melbourne rockers Electric Mary playing an acoustic set.
Sharaya have recently shared a stage with the iconic Baby Animals, Dallas Frasca, The Truth and Electric Mary, they have ignited the rock flames for audiences across the country with their explosive live set.
They have been compared to the likes of Garbage, Evanescence, Foo Fighters, Zeppelin, Heart and Aerosmith – all at once! So I get the feeling we are in for solid rock, high energy, absolute dynamite.
Lyrically this album is a personal journey through the life of Shay Liza, the highs and the lows which will give listeners an experience they can relate to, and songs that make them feel.
Shay’s vocals are soulful and deep at times, and others they are pure rock. The guitars, the drums, the bass all come together to offer depth and edge. I’m loving it.
I wish I lived in Melbourne because I can tell you right now where I would be on May 31….
At The Corner Hotel for the Sharaya launch gig.
Tickets are available at the door on the night for $20 or from The Corner website: https://corner.ticketscout.com.au/gigs/455-sharaya
Debut Album ‘The Road To…’ available on iTunes now.
My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
