October 18th saw the release of Woody Allen’s latest comedy To Rome With Love, set in the enchanting and timeless city of Rome.
This romantic comedy will keep audience entertained and amused by the situations the characters find themselves in. There are four distinct storylines focusing on very different characters – some are American, some Italian, some tourists and some natives.
To Rome With Love features a star studded cast of talented actors including Penelope Cruz, Alec Baldwin, Judy Davis, Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page and Roberto Benigni.
Woody Allen has enjoyed a long and prolific career; last year he directed Midnight In Paris his 41st film in the director’s chair and it became his most successful film release to date, gaining critical acclaim as well as an Academy Award and smashing box office records.
I have just been watching the trailer and I can safely say, in my opinion, if you are a Woody Allen fan I think you are really going to enjoy this movie.
Doing for Rome what Woody Allen did for Barcelona in Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Paris in Midnight In Paris, comes To Rome With Love.
From my look at the trailer it seems that this film is going to portray Rome almost as another character, bringing into focus its timelessness, it’s combination of modern city life with a sense of history and it’s abundance of art, culture and cuisine.
My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
