So, I don’t often watch the old horror genre, I like my sleep filled with fluffy dreams and not nightmares (although I do have a soft spot for American Horror Story – Lady Gaga, you amazed me), but back on topic – apparently The Witch is one of the scariest movies of 2016.
That being said, I tend not to find witches frightening and I feel expectations may be a little high for this one…but after sleeping with one eye open for a week after watching “It Follows” my tolerance for fear is fairly low so I’d be interested in your opinions.
Here is the spiel:
New England, 1630: William and Katherine lead a devout Christian life, homesteading on the edge of an impassible wilderness, with five children. When their newborn son mysteriously vanishes and their crops fail, the family begins to turn on one another. ‘The Witch’ is a chilling portrait of a family unraveling within their own fears and anxieties, leaving them prey for an inescapable evil.
And here’s the clip:
So, would you/ have you seen it? Good, bad, or ugly? To watch or not to watch?
In cinemas now.

To Watch!
As long as it’s not ‘scary’ the way Blair witch was
I can only watch a horror movie with the volume on very low.
