Ella Hooper packed the Workers Club when she launched her latest single Haxan last month and now fans will have the chance to catch her live every week in June.
Every Tuesday in June Ella will be playing at The Toff in Town supported by special guests Texture Like Sun. She will be playing tracks off her forthcoming album In Tongues due for release later this year.
“A warming winter residency is the perfect way to introduce people to my solo album material, as it’s smoky and sultry and goes well with whisky,” laughs Ella. Excited about sharing the stage with Texture Like Sun, Ella goes on to say, “they’re super talented, soo very good at what they do and I think we compliment each other in a really nice harmonious way… it’s going to make Tuesday the highlight of every week!”
With 4 shows to choose from surely you can get in to see this talented Melbourne songstress croon her new tunes supported by Texture Like Sun, and various other local acts:
4th June – Roscoe James Irwin
11th June – Ariela Jacobs
18th June – Krista Polvere
25th June – Gena Rose Bruce
Tickets are available from Moshtix now for $10 plus booking fee.
There are many places for you to get your Ella fix and find out what she’s up to. Feel free to check her out in any of these places: Her Website, Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, Lost Clues To Future News on Blogspot
My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
