Brisbane band Tourism are a four-piece consisting of two British brothers and 2 of their close friends. They make music that is lyrical, upbeat and lighthearted.
The new single, City Never Sleeps, is an upbeat pop track with a strong British accent. Lyrically this is definitely not a track that takes itself too seriously and it is a lot of fun. The single has been released as part of the General Pants Co.’s Major Label initiative.
Major Label is a pioneering new singles record label owned entirely by General Pants Co. and aimed at discovering unsigned Australian acts. The label stays away from controlling artist creativity, doesn’t own their copyright and pays out to the acts 100% of royalties generated from the online sales of the singles.
City Never Sleeps is a song that is definitely catchy and it will hook you! You can stream it on the Major Label page if you would like to listen.
Tourism are holed up in the studio recording an EP with Sean Cook, who has worked with Yves Klein Blue, which is due for release later this year. Until that time City Never Sleeps will remain a happy accompaniment to every activity.
