September 2012 saw the release of the seventh Grinspoon studio album Black Rabbits and its ARIA debut at #8. This gives Grinspoon 7 Top Ten albums and the perfect opportunity to get back on the road and out on tour.
Grinspoon are a Lismore born quartet who stormed onto the Australian music scene in 1995 with a string of hits that formed the basis of their 1997 debut album titled Guide To Better Living. In their career Grinspoon have collected multiple platinum certifications and sold over 500,000 albums in Australia as well as receiving the ARIA for ‘Best Rock Album’ in 2005 for Thrills, Kills & Sunday Pills.
2013 is set to kick off in style for Grinspoon with them playing Big Day Out festivals across Australia in January with a special ‘All Hits’ set which will be light on new tracks and chock full of classic favourites.
The Big Day Out shows are a great preface to the National Black Rabbits headline tour which runs through March and April. This will be a whole new live show for fans who are familiar with the energetic explosion of sound and good time rock and roll that is Grinspoon. The shows on this tour will be the longest set the band have ever played consisting of everyone’s favourites and a substantial selection of new tracks off Black Rabbits. Certainly a show that is going to satisfy old and new Grinspoon fans alike.
The Black Rabbits tour is proudly presented by SPA, Fasterlouder and Channel [V] and tickets are on sale now.

I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews. Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS!
