Melbourne rockers Black Fox are gearing up for the November 16 release of their debut full length album Line of Sight. An album that will be released on both CD and 12-inch vinyl, and celebrated at The Espy on November 24 with a free entry launch gig.
Black Fox have poured their heart and soul into the making of Line of Sight; this is an album the band wrote, recorded and produced so the final product is exactly what they aimed for and it took them from Melbourne to NYC and Japan.
Frontman Dane Robertson had this to say about the album launch at iconic Melbourne live music venue The Espy:
“We absolutely love the Espy and have always had a wild time when we play there, so it seemed like the perfect choice for the album launch. We were also very keen to make sure that the launch was free entry and on a night when people didn’t have to worry about work the next morning. It’s going to be a big party.”
Releasing the album on vinyl was always a consideration, and factored in every step making this reminiscent of albums of the past. The album length had to remain under 40 minutes to keep from comprising sound quality on the vinyl.
Beatles Party is the second single, a catchy high energy tune that will have you singing along in no time.

My blurb went missing… so now I have to bring you a new one. One that is a little broader too.
I devour books, vampires and supernatural creatures are my genre of choice but over the past couple of years I have broadened my horizons considerably.
I inhale music, hair metal that satisfies my inner bogan is where my musical passion lies, but again I’ve been exposed to lots of different music I wouldn’t normally listen to and have broadened those horizons also.
In a nutshell – I love to write! I love interacting with a diverse range of artists to bring you interviews.
Perhaps we were perfect before – I LOVE WORDS! Reading, writing, speaking, listening – if it’s got words I’m there!
